Cookie Policy

LAST UPDATED: JULY 31, 2026

This policy describes the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used on secrul.com. It supplements the Secrul Privacy Policy. We keep this deliberately minimal: we use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies — only first-party technologies for signing in, analytics, and attribution.

What we use

We describe categories rather than an exhaustive list of individual cookie names, because specific names can change as providers update their tools. Two things do not change without an update to this page: the categories below, and our commitment to set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The categories of service providers we work with are described in the Privacy Policy.

CategoryWhat it doesHow long
Strictly necessaryCookies needed to sign in, keep your session secure, and protect against abuse once account features are available. The public website works without cookies.Session, or as long as needed for security
AnalyticsFirst-party cookies from our web-analytics tools that distinguish visitors and sessions so we can understand how the site is used. We load cookie-setting analytics only on our production site, and part of our analytics stack is cookie-free and aggregated.Set by the provider; typically up to 2 years
AttributionFirst-party keys in your browser's local storage that remember the campaign (UTM parameters), referring site, and landing page of your visit, so we know which channel brought you if you join the waitlist.Until you clear browser storage
Advertising / cross-site trackingNone. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across sites through the Secrul Services.

How to control cookies

  • Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies and clear local storage for secrul.com at any time; the site works without them.
  • Analytics opt-outs: our analytics providers offer their own opt-out tools — for example, Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Visitors from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

The Secrul Services are directed to businesses in the United States. If we later market to these regions, we will introduce a consent banner before setting analytics cookies for visitors from them.

Changes

If we add new cookies or trackers — for example, when the platform launches — we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
